Pastor Jerry Jacquot was born in Miami, Florida to Christian parents. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior when he was 10 years old and felt a call to the ministry while in junior high. After graduating from high school, Jerry attended Baptist University of America in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated with a degree in Bible. He then went to Bob Jones University and earned his Masters of Divinity. After completing his degree, Jerry took an associate pastor position at Tulsa Baptist Temple in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His responsibilities while in Tulsa included the children’s ministries, youth ministries, choir, music and ministry to young couples. After 13 years in Tulsa, God moved him to Lake Wylie, South Carolina where he has lived for the past 8 years. Jerry helped begin a Spanish church in the South Charlotte area and has now started the new Kingsway Baptist Church in the Lake Wylie/Steele Creek area.

Melody Jacquot was born in a Christian family and was raised in a pastor’s home. She accepted Christ as her Savior when she was 7 years old. After high school, Melody attended Bob Jones University and graduated with a degree in Missions. She and Jerry were married after her graduation and she now spends her time caring for her family and home schooling four of their five children. Their children are Benjamin, Braden, Bryce, Brian, and London.
